RSPCA Tameside and Glossop Branch


To prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals. To care for Animals brough to the branch by RSPCA Inspectors. To ensure that previously mistreated and/or neglected animals find new caring homes. To provide assistance to pet owners on means tested benefits to meet their expensive veterinary costs for the treatment and/or neutering of their animals. To raise funds to enable the branch to carry out the above aims through donations and public collections.

Committe meetings held here on the last Thursday of each month at Volunteer Centre Tameside (a fully accessible Meeting room).

Disabled access is available at MyPetStop, a private boarding establishment used by the branch. Volunteer opportunities available are: Dog Walking, Cat Socialising, Pre and Post Adoption home visiting, Short Term Animal Fostering, Committee work, Fundraising, Membership Secretaries, Campaigning. Training courses offered via RSPCA National Society.
