Hamer Youth Trust

The Hamer Youth Trust was established in 1966 by Revd. Canon Basil Hamer, Vicar of St. Paul's Stalybridge from 1951 - 1964.

It has disbursed many 1000 pounds since 1966 to the benefit of Stalybridge youth.

The Trust exists for the benefit of children and young people in Stalybridge and District. It makes small grants to organisations and individuals working with young people to assist them with projects, training or capital expenditure.

Anyone wishing to make an application should contact the Secretary. The Secretary would like to hear from anyone interested in bequeathing even a small amount to boost its capital sum, or who has ideas on potential beneficiaries.

The trustees meet in March and September to consider applications for grants.
