Intro
The R.I.Q group is made up of older people aged over 50 who want to be involved in shaping and improving local social care & health services. Access needs such as organising transport, dietary or language support can be arranged. Senior managers from adult services, health agencies and other council departments are invited to give talks and presentations. Your views are sought and listened to and this helps them to improve the effectiveness of their services. If you would like to contribute ideas or get involved in improving the quality of local health and social care services, you are welcome to join the RIQ group.
The forum meets 4 times a year. Meetings are held at Dukinfield Town Hall. An annual conference is held in October each year and over 100 older people from across the borough attend.
