To promote and encourage interest in allotment gardening in paticular and gardening in general to the residents of Stalybridge and District.
To develop Mottram Road Allotments into a first-class site with first-class facilities for its members.
Fixed events - Annual Plant Sale on late May Bank Holiday Sunday from 11am to 3pm and Monday from 10am to 3pm.
Annual horticultural show (84 classes) on August Bank Holiday Sunday from 2pm to 5pm and Monday from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Horticultural supplies, store (available only to members) open most Sundays throughout the year: March to August from 11am to 12am, September to February from 11.30am to 12 noon.
Members meetings held on the second Sunday morning of January, March, May, July, August, September and the first Sunday morning in November.
Evening events: as arranged on autumn and winter evenings, illustrated talks on a variety of horticultural and related topics. Usually commencing at 7.30pm.
