Five charged after operation in Tameside

Five people have been charged following an operation to arrest outstanding offenders in Tameside.
As part of Operation Archipelago, officers executed a number of outstanding warrants across Tameside on yesterday and today (29 and 30 July 2010).
The following people were charged as a result:
David Dunscombe, born 27/9/78, of Old House Terrace, Ashton-under-Lyne, was charged with assault and is due to appear before Tameside magistrates on 16 August 2010
Sebastian Cooper, born 11/6/89, of Ridge Hill Lane, Stalybridge, was arrested for theft related offences and charged with driving offences, due to appear before Tameside magistrates on 11 August 2010.
A 17-year-old boy from Denton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with assault and was due to appear before Tameside magistrates on 9 August 2010.
Colin Hollinshead, born 7/2/82, of Manchester Road, Denton, was charged with theft and was due to appear before Tameside magistrates on 11 August 2010.
Dean Ashcroft, born 14/11/86, of Holme Street, Hyde, was charged with assault and was due to appear before Tameside magistrates on 9 August 2010.
During the operation a number of other people were also arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries. These were a 48-year-old man arrested for making threats to kill, a 35-year-old man arrested for section 47 assault, a 45-year-old man arrested for cultivating cannabis and a 14-year-old boy arrested for burglary.
