Man charged after fraudster collects money in military uniform

A man is due in court today, Thursday 31/12/2009, after people in Ashton were conned by a man pretending to be a war veteran.
Liam Kissane (born 30/3/82) of no fixed abode has been charged with three counts of deception.
He is due at Tameside Magistrates Court today, Thursday 31 December 2009.
On 29 December 2009, a man dressed in military uniform pretended to be a war veteran collecting money for the charity Help for Heroes.
He was challenged and arrested on suspicion of deception by a neighbourhood police officer.
