Update - Missing schoolgirl found
Date published: 04 November 2009
Police are urging a missing schoolgirl to get in touch.
Leonie Rochelle Dolan-Hines, aged 15, is missing from her family home on Lewis Road, Droylsden but was last seen at a friend's house in Clayton on 22 October 2009.
She is described as white, 5ft 4in tall and has long red hair.
Police believe she visited the Republic of Ireland at the weekend but has since returned.
Detective Inspector Dave Loughlin, of Tameside CID, said: "While I believe Leonie is probably staying with friends, until we hear from her we can't be certain and are understandably getting increasingly concerned.
"Her family are desperate to hear from her so I would ask anyone who knows where she might be to get in touch.
"I would also like to appeal directly to Leonie to please pick up the phone and call someone, whether it is your mother or the police it doesn't matter. We just need to know you are safe and well."
Anyone with information is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 5050 or Tameside CID on 0161 856 9254.
